The three-month Academies Exchange Programme came to an end last week with immense splendor and joy. The AKA Mombasa community bid farewell to the 17 students from AKA Hyderabad with warmth, affection and memories.
The Aga Khan Academy Mombasa welcomed 15 new staff members from around the world to its community for the 2019 – 2020 academic year. Throughout the next few weeks, profiles of the new staff will be shown, introducing who they are and how they want to bring change to the Academy.
Supporters and Friends of the Aga Khan Academy hosted a charity golf tournament at the Nyali Golf & Country Club Mombasa, with all proceeds donated towards the Academy’s Talent Identification Programme.
As part of their mentorship curriculum, year 8 students at AKA Mombasa engage in video conferences with students from around the world to strengthen their communication skills with people from various backgrounds and mindsets.
