Literacy Slam

On 8 March, the Aga Khan Academy Maputo held its first-ever Literacy Slam at the Academy, featuring performances from students across the Junior School and Senior School.
The performances showcased an array of talent from the students, including poems, songs, storytelling and skits. Parents and family members were also invited to attend, with the whole school community taking part in literacy games and activities together, such as scavenger hunts, writing challenges and more.
“My favourite moment was performing with my dance group," said Grade 5 student Hefzibah Galimoto. "I loved being able to express myself on stage.”
