Grade 6 and 7 Portuguese language and literature students have been studying a unit about documentary making and have focused on techniques used in Lusophone contexts to depict the lives of street children. During the unit the students learned about many of the reasons why children find themselves surviving alone on the streets, and the consequences of living in such uncertain circumstances.

Our Year 6/7 (English Language B) students are eagerly exploring issues in Social Justice – a view that everyone, by virtue of being human, deserves to enjoy the same economic and social rights, regardless of race, culture, socio-economic status, gender or other characteristics.

The Hyderabad Academy Outreach Department launched Tier II of PLES (Professional Learning for Educators Series) in June 2017 for 30 government secondary school teachers, aimed at English language acquisition and improving classroom pedagogy.
