Meet Mou Maiti, dean of studies

Mou said she aspires to achieve the mission and vision of the Aga Khan Academies by being a role model and having a shared vision that includes high standards of learning and continuous school improvement.  

“I want to produce a positive school climate full of care and trust,” Mou said. “This assignment excites me with the possibility of building a new Academy that is led by the mission and vision of His Highness the Aga Khan with a world-class academic programme. It also inspires me to think about creating professional pathways for our teachers and facilitating our students to become lifelong learners.” 

Mou is ecstatic about the students – they are her favourite part of the Academy.

“The children, of course,” Mou said.“Isn't that what all this is for? To build future leaders and global citizens.”
