NOTES
- In line with the Aga Khan Academy Dhaka policy, the tuition fees for the full academic year 2022-2023 are payable in two equal instalments, no later than 31 May 2022 and 31 December 2022.
- A sibling discount of 5% on tuition fees will be applicable for second and subsequent children.
- The tuition fee for the academic year may be paid in full on or before 31 May 2022 with an early payment discount of 3%. The early payment discounts are applicable on the net amount after all other discounts/subsidies/financial assistance have been deducted.
- The Academy will charge a monthly surcharge of 2% on the total outstanding dues older than 30 days. In case the fees are not paid within one month following the deadline, the student will not be allowed to attend classes or participate in other activities undertaken by the Academy.
- Transport service will be offered as a service to families on a cost-neutral basis, as long as minimum number of students express a need in a given locality. Fee details will be shared at a later date.
- Tuition fees include course fees, the use of essential course books, library books, IT structure, science laboratory equipment and certain classroom supplies. The fees do not include uniform costs, exam fees or field trip costs.
- Exam fees for the IB programme will be billed separately based on the actual fee issues by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
- The Academy does not accept cash for fee payments. All payments must be made by bank transfer and direct bank deposit through payment slip, account payee cheque or demand draft even if the payment is being made by a third party such as a sponsoring organisation. Cheques should be made out in favor of the Aga Khan Education Services-Academy (FEE). Parents must provide the finance office (finance.dhaka@agakhanacademies.org) with a hard or an electronic copy of proof of payment showing the full name of the student and the student identification number within 15 days of fund transfer for confirmation. Absence of this information may delay crediting the fees reflected on your account in our system.
- Parents are responsible for ensuring that the fee payments are made for the correct bank account of the Academy. In the unlikely event of any change in bank account details, the changes will be communicated to parents in writing.
- Students who demonstrate financial need and who duly fill in and submit the application along with supporting documents within the stipulated time can be considered for financial aid. An independent Financial Aid Committee is responsible for reviewing and approving any request for financial aid students.
- If a student wishes, one term’s advance notice of withdrawal must be given in writing or, in lieu of notice, one term of the annual fees will be due and payable. School clearance will not be possible until the fee account is settled in full.
- The Academy reserves the right to withhold results, school certificates, transcripts or any other information and/or documents until all outstanding dues are settled in full.
- The above terms and conditions may be modified or new terms may apply to reflect changes in the law or our services. For further information please contact our finance department at finance.dhaka@agakhanacademies.org.
- Please note that fee structures are subject to annual review.
