Meet Jina Saha, individuals and societies teacher

Jina Saha was born in Kolkata, India and is the lead individuals and societies teacher at the Aga Khan Academy Dhaka. Before joining the Academy, Jina taught at the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad and several other schools around India. 

Jina aspires to achieve the mission and vision of the Aga Khan Academies by creating a sense of curiosity among students about the world around us.

“I aspire to create spaces for students to nurture their curiosity and to achieve the objectives of individuals and societies, which largely overlap with the vision and mission of the Academies,” Jina said. “The leadership classes are an excellent example of this shared space.”

Jina loves interacting with the students; they are her favourite part of the Academy.

“I love the endearing attitude of the students,” Jina said. “I also appreciate their respect for the teachers and staff.”
