Meet Bushra Fairooz Medha, Grade 4 teaching assistant

19 October 2022

Bushra Fairooz Medha was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and is the Grade 4 teaching assistant at the Aga Khan Academy Dhaka. Before joining the Academy, Bushra briefly worked at BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health. Bushra secured her Bachelor of Science Education and Master of Education in educational psychology and guidance at the University of Dhaka.

Bushra aspires to achieve the mission and vision of the Aga Khan Academies by motivating students to be more compassionate about the world they live in.

“The pluralistic views of the Aga Khan Academies encourages students to thrive in newchallenges, be open to diverse viewpoints and explore constructive learning, and discussion,” Bushra said. “I want my students to grow up as pluralistic and ethical leaders of Bangladesh, and contribute to the country’s welfare.”

Bushra loves the Junior School library; it is her favourite part of the Academy.

We surely have the most beautiful library, Bushra said. “Time flies every time I am here with the kids and I thoroughly enjoy every bit of it.”
