AKA Alumni - Welcome to our Potential Mentors

 

The Aga Khan Academies is looking to enhance its offerings to its graduates, in an effort to improve communication and aid these individuals as they launch into the working world. As a result, The Aga Khan Academies invites you to be part of the inaugural career mentorship initiative. It is through this one-on-one mentorship programme that we hope to connect AKA mentees (graduates) with professional mentors (alumni/other professionals). We would like for students to be able to do the following with a mentor:

AKA Hyderabad partners with TSWREIS for professional development & talent identification

In October 2018, AKA Hyderabad signed an MoU with the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society for joint initiatives on teacher training and recruiting gifted students for scholarship opportunities.

The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka

The award-winning Aga Khan Academy Dhaka represents a significant investment in education by the Aga Khan Development Network for the benefit of Bangladesh. It will become a new national asset for the whole country – and for its broad educational community.

Strengthening the network through successful student exchanges

The two month-long inaugural Aga Khan Academies exchange programme came to a close just before the semester ended in December 2018, allowing for returning students to reflect, relive and readjust.

AKA Mombasa educator shortlisted for 2019 Global Teacher Prize

Maina Gioko

Dr Maina WaGíokò, an educator at the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the 2019 Global Teacher Prize.
