Maaher Bhaloo: Academy student proposes affordable and sustainable electricity for Zanzibar

As part of his personal project, ‘Zanzibar - The Solar Island’, Maaher Bhaloo, a Year 10 student at AKA Mombasa proposed for the government of Zanzibar to adopt renewable energy as opposed to using fossil fuels to power up Zanzibar island so as to compensate for the limited access to electricity for many of the island’s local households.
