Residential students take over Organic Farm on campus

In the coming academic year organic farming will be an activity for the residential students at the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad.

Music for a cause

Garv Joshi (grade 8) produced his own trap music (a branch of hip-hop music) and started making his own beats. He then sold the beats and used the money he earned to buy items needed to make a COVID-19 kits.

Project Bindu

Bindu is also a thought which must be instilled in every individual’s mindset – because Bindu means ‘stop’ or ‘dot’. We aspire to put a stop to damaging stigmas, to period poverty and to ignorance. With a team of passionate students studying at the Academy, we are determined to help make sustainable menstrual hygiene a reality for everyone.

Creativity, Activity, Service: Teaching students meaningful life lessons through hands-on learning

Students studying the IB Diploma Programme at the Academy have been regularly volunteering to spend some quality time on various projects that enable service-based learning. Over the last few days, around 28 students of DP 1 had planted more than 300 different varieties of organic vegetables and flowers on the Academy campus!

Annual squash league promotes sportsmanship and fun

The squash tournament was hosted by a group of three students - Atiya Panjwani, Aafreen Prasla and Rehaan Khimani - as a part of their Community, Action and Service project over the weekend of 2nd - 3rd March 2019.
