Aga Khan Academy named ICT Leader
The Aga Khan Academy in Mombasa has been named one of four Microsoft showcase schools in Africa, for its use of technology in education.
This status was given to only 150 schools across 75 countries worldwide. The academy is the only school in eastern Africa and one of three schools in sub-Saharan Africa to be selected.
Holistic and pluricultural educational approach

AKA, Mombasa Leads With Kiswahili English International Baccalaureate
The Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa, has broken new ground with the first ever Swahili – English version of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for the International Baccalaureate (IB), the world’s most prestigious university entrance qualification, by developing and pioneering a Kenyan-relevant version of the programme at a time when all other IB schools in the country are using an English language version.
India's Best Schools of 2015
The Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad has improved its ranking from the sixth to the third best day-cum-boarding international school in India by the leading education publication Education World (EW). The recognition was part of EW’s ranking of the best Indian schools for 2015.
This is a tremendous achievement for the Academy, which opened only in 2011 with its first group of Junior School students and was formally inaugurated by His Highness the Aga Khan in 2013.
