Ruhi Manek, a member of the Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa's Class of 2016, was recently recognized at the Pearson High Achievers Ceremony in Nairobi for her outstanding performance in her IGCSE examinations.
From 13th to 15th April 2015, the Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa hosted a group of students and teachers from various public schools as part of the Educating Girls in Sciences (EGIS) Project.
On 16th April 2015, the Academy hosted several members from the Lions Club in Mombasa in order to create potential opportunities for collaboration between the school and the organization.

On 17 April 2015, over a hundred educators began their year-long (378 hours) Professional Learning with the Professional Development Center at the Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa.
