Great African Cycling Safari flags off from the Academy

On 1 August the Great African Cycling Safari (GACS) kicked off their East African tour from the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa. Over the course of 55 days, the cyclists will travel through Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, and Uganda and will re-enter Kenya to complete the safari in Nairobi.

Encouraging environmental education at an early age

Mozambican environmental activist and lawyer, Carlos Serra Junior, visited the Aga Khan Academy Maputo to talk about his work on water pollution. He met with students from Grade 3 - 5 and discussed issues like environmental education and water pollution in Mozambique.

Organo Collective inspires Academy students

70 grade 9 students visited the Organo Collective, an organic farming organisation located in Moinabad, on Saturday 13th January as a follow up to the Times of India workshop conducted late last year at the Academy.
