In an interview with Noorin Pattni (female House Captain for the Ravens) regarding the rehearsals before the actual music competition, she stated “Our practice sessions are going on really well. We have chosen the song ‘Burn’ by Ellie Goulding for the Instrumental round, and ‘Waving Flag’ mixed with ‘Save the World’ by Swedish House Mafia for the Acapella round. According to our practices, I feel that we are going to perform really well.”

The performances expressed the theme really well. The Hawks came up with a performance that included a love story that took place on campus. The Ravens came up with a performance that showed us the break time scenes in school. The Eagles had a challenging performance that showed the audience talented singers and dancers that could steal the show during any period of time in school.

The judges, after a long period of thinking and remembering the performances of the different groups, finally said that the Hawks just mesmerized everyone with their talents of singing and dancing. There was a tie between the Ravens and the Eagles on coming out second, and finally, we had the Falcons in fourth place.

We look forward to more amazing performances and displays of House Spirit next year!
