Online event: Literacy in the Primary Years

On Wednesday, 11 November the Aga Khan Academy Maputo's Junior School held an online literacy workshop for parents. Junior School Principal Maike Silver and Primary Years Programme Coordinator Emma Wheatley highlighted the importance and impact regular reading has on student learning.
The session focused on the literacy approach the Academy takes both online and on campus. In closing, practical ideas and video demonstrations gave parents inspiration on how to promote literacy in a playful way at home. To view the slideshow used for the session, please click here.
