Assembly on Religious Conflicts by Grade 7K

23 February 2015

“Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.” Will Rogers

Grade 7K performed an assembly on one of the most relevant issues in the world today: religious conflicts.

The class was divided into three groups. The first group started the assembly by initiating important thoughts: "What is religious conflict, what do we mean by religion and what we mean by conflict?" A skit was also performed on how religious conflicts are affecting our daily lives and the discrimination it causes. Then, the factors that lead to religious conflicts were discussed by the second group, for example politics and lack of education.

Every member of the group came forward and spoke about these vital reasons for a minute. The third group provided possible solutions to religious conflicts. They also presented a short but important skit which showed how these issues can be resolved.

We hope that we were able to change people's perspectives on such a vital issue that has divided and destroyed generations.
