The AKA Team Wins 7 Medals

The Aga Khan Academy team participated in the 7th TAISI International School sports competition held in MIT Gurukul International School, Pune, from 18 January to 21 January 2015. Students from different states and 18 schools took part in this event. Our teams participated in basketball and swimming.
Four students from the Academy contended in eight swimming events and won seven medals:
- Sai Pranay, Grade 10 student, won a Gold in 50 metres Butterfly and a Silver in 50 metres Free Style
- Samson Suhas, Grade 8, won a Silver in 50 metres Free Style and 50 metres Breast Stroke
- Tanmay Verma, Grade 9, won a Bronze in 50 metres Breast Stroke
- Viral Kanani, Grade 10, won a Bronze in 50 metres Back Stroke and a Bronze in 50 metres Free Style
