Meet Zvikomborero Katsande - AKA Maputo's new Individuals & Societies teacher

Zvikomborero joins AKA Maputo from the AKA Hyderabad where he has led the Humanities Department. He will be supporting and developing the MYP Humanities programme and also support in the preparation for the Diploma Programme. Coming from Zimbabwe, he has a wealth of IB teaching experience across a range of subject areas.

Meet Zvikomborero Katsande

Zvikomborero Katsande joined us from the AKA Hyderabad in the 2020-2021 academic year. Working at AKA Maputo for over a year as an Individuals and Societies teacher, Zvikomborero is now the new DP TOK coordinator.

English Peace Project

Students of grade 8 were engaged in an integrated activity of English and Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) in the form of a 'Peace Project' on Wednesday, 30th October 2019. The event was attended by Academy teachers and young minds of grade 5.

Earth Day: a day for reflection at the Academy
