Road to university: Aftikhar Mominzada

As our Class of 2021 gets closer and closer to graduation, we are featuring a few soon-to-be graduates from the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad. This spotlight focuses on Aftikhar Mominzada, who joined AKA Hyderabad six years ago from Afghanistan. After graduating from the Academy, Aftikhar will be attending the University of Alberta in Canada with a full scholarship.

Student creates organic perfume with calming effects

Sonakshi Roy, a Year 10 student at the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa, has created a natural and organic perfume which has a calming effect and provides anxiety relief. The perfume project is inspired by her growing interest in psychology and addressing mental health issues.
